Jose “Antonio” Varela is a seasoned entrepreneur, consultant, and board member with over 30 years of expertise in financial strategy, operations, and leadership development. His experience spans financial planning, logistics, cross-cultural communication, and organizational policies, making him a trusted advisor to businesses navigating growth, transformation, or financial challenges.

Antonio has worked extensively with Fortune 500 companies across industries, providing strategic insights to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency. His expertise includes global and financial strategy, budgeting, sales management, CRM, marketing, executive coaching, change management, and leading cross-functional teams.

Throughout his career, Antonio has held key leadership roles, including serving as an International Consultant and as the founder of International Data Entry Corporation and its Mexican subsidiary, Proceso y Maquila Internacional de Datos, SA de CV. Under his leadership (overseeing operations, financial management, process improvements, employment agreements, lease contracts, and service negotiations) his company grew to 270 employees.

Antonio played a pivotal role in engineering a financial turnaround for a $4 billion Mexican government agency by redesigning its money transfer system. He has also collaborated with top-tier clients such as CitiCorp, Discover, Disney World, Hilton Hotels, and Publishers’ Clearinghouse.

Jose holds a BA from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, completed an English program at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and pursued graduate studies in Public Administration at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico City Campus. He has also served as a board member for the Mexican Cultural Institute of San Diego.
